About New Zealand

This morning brings the opportunity to experience New Zealand's pioneering history in the historic gold mining town of Ross.

If you are not up to panning for gold, perhaps you might like to carve your own jade necklace in Hokitika.  Hokitika boasts a vast range of artisans, so there are plenty of opportunities to view and purchase artworks that have been inspired by the rugged New Zealand landscape.  There is also the opportunity to view the Kiwi in its nocturnal habitat.

Our last drive of the tour takes us through Arthur's Pass National Park and along the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.
